Shipping Info

All Foie Gras sold online by Au Bon Canard are frozen, cryovac sealed, and shipped in styrofoam containers packed with frozen gel packs, permitting your order to travel safely for 2-3 days.  

We want our Foie Gras to arrive at your house as quickly as possible and with as few obstacles along the way.  In light of the perishability of our products we choose not to send out shipments late in the week as they may risk spending the weekend in transit.  Please see our shipping schedule for details on when orders are shipped.

Shipping Schedule

Spee-Dee Deliveries (Next Day Delivery): 

• Orders placed Wednesday thru Sunday will ship on Monday.  

• Orders placed on Monday or Tuesday will ship on Wednesday.                 

FedEx or UPS (2 day Express):

• All orders will ship on Tuesday.

• For orders outside of Spee-Dee Delivery territory.

All orders are shipped without a Signature Release Authorization so that packages may be delivered without your signature. Shipments to IA, WI, MN, SD, ND, and IL, as well as parts of NE and MO, ship by Spee-Dee  for a flat fee of $20.  Orders across the remainder of the US ship with UPS second day air for a flat rate of $50.    

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept return merchandise and will not issue a refund to the credit card of anyone who refuses delivery or attempts to return a shipment.  

Please check your address and zip code information carefully when placing orders, as delivery delays due to incomplete or incorrect shipping information will not be considered our responsibility.  You may cancel an order placed during the week before Friday noon; however, once the shipping process begins at that time, we cannot change or cancel your order.
